A historic pub set in rolling hills in the heart of Norfolk, just 2 miles from Holt, celebrating classic British pub food.
Multi-award winning chef Ben Handley and his wife Sarah took over the pub and, after renovation, opened in August 2017. Ben's menu reflects the seasons and contains pub classics along with more complicated dishes, and also his famous 'Bar Bites' for those wanting a light snack.
Sarah has rejuvenated the pub in a tasteful and cosy manner and built a local team of happy faces.
Ben and Sarah have owned The Duck Inn, Stanhoe for several years and have won numerous accolades including becoming The Good Food Guide Restaurant of the Year 2017 for the East of England, being included in Conde Nast's Top 5 Norfolk Foodie Hotspots, a finalist in The Observer Food Monthly Awards 2016 and listed and praised for it's cuisine in the 2017 Michelin Guide.
